All divisions in Laboratory Medicine have a strong interest in service, research, and education, and serve the UPMC Health SystemJob Duties Administrative leadership opportunities, depending on experience Provide diagnostic hematopathology services covering bone marrow, tissue service (lymph node/spleen, etc.
), pediatric cases (bone marrow and tissue), flow cytometry, and general hematology services Actively participate in Divisional educational activities Pursuing clinical/translational investigations Laboratory-based investigations and entrepreneurial efforts, which are supported by prior accomplishmentsQualifications Must have an MD or DO with board certification in Hematopathology Eligibility for medical licensure in Pennsylvania is required Experience in a large hospital-based hematopathology service and in molecular hematopathology is beneficial, together with a proven academic track recordSalary And Benefits Salary will be commensurate with experience.
