You get involved in research projects and scientific studies. You publish internationally and give scientific lectures. You join UniVie Doctoral School Computer Science: https: //docs. univie. ac. at/ You work on and complete your doctoral dissertation. You co-supervise the research conducted by students. You participate in teaching as defined by the collective agreement. You engage with colleagues from adjacent fields and collaborate on interdisciplinary research. Must-have CriteriaThese are your qualifications:

You have completed a Master's degree in Computer Science or a closely related field, or you expect to complete it by 31. 08. 2025. You have excellent written and spoken English skills, demonstrated by high-quality academic writing and communication. (Our working language is English. )You are interested in research in distributed systems and interdisciplinary topics. You are a team player with strong social/communicative skills. Desirable Skills You have established experience in distributed systems, ideally in one or more of the following areas:

Fixed-term contract and fair salary: The basic salary of EUR 3. 714,80 (on full-time basis, 14x p. a. ) increases if we can credit professional experience. The employment duration is 4 years. Initially limited to 1. 5 years, the employment relationship is automatically extended to 3 years if the employer does not terminate it within the first 12 months by submitting a non-extension declaration.
