You get involved in research projects and scientific studies. You publish internationally and give scientific lectures. You participate in teaching as defined by the collective agreement. You engage with colleagues from adjacent fields and collaborate on interdisciplinary research. Must-have CriteriaThese are your qualifications:

You have completed a Master's degree in Computer Science or a closely related field, or you expect to complete it by 31. 08. 2025. You have excellent written and spoken English skills, demonstrated by high-quality academic writing and communication. (Our working language is English. )You are interested in research in distributed systems and interdisciplinary topics. You are a team player with strong social/communicative skills. Desirable Skills You have established experience in distributed systems, ideally in one or more of the following areas:

Fixed-term contract and fair salary: The basic salary of EUR 3. 714,80 (on full-time basis, 14x p. a. ) increases if we can credit professional experience. The employment duration is 4 years. Initially limited to 1. 5 years, the employment relationship is automatically extended to 3 years if the employer does not terminate it within the first 12 months by submitting a non-extension declaration.
