As a Visiting Professor, you play a crucial role in educating students. The position is vacant for the period of absence of the member of staff. Your Future WorkplaceYour future place is at the Department of Political Science in the research area of Comparative Politics with a focus on Eastern and Southeastern Europe.

The area teaches and researches on the topics of comparative and international political economy and democracy in East and Southeastern Europe. The Department of Political Science, a subunit of the Faculty of Social Sciences, addresses all major fields of political science. It is dedicated to innovative and problem-oriented research and provides students with a wide range of specialisations. Members of the Department study the transformation of governance, statehood and democracy across different policy areas, geographical regions and political areas. Your Future TasksYou actively participate in teaching, research & administration, which means:

You serve to cover a vacancy in the area of Comparative Politics with a focus on Eastern and Southeastern European studies. You hold courses at Bachelor's and Master's levels independently within the scope of the provisions of the collective bargaining agreement. The teaching load is four courses (eight semester hours) per week. Required QualificationsDoctoral degree in political scienceSeveral years teaching experience at university levelExcellent educational and didactic skillsExcellent command of written and spoken English.
