TeamWork Management, the group’s US subsidiary, was created in 2017.With US offices in Boston, Fort Lauderdale and San Diego, our approach is universal: supporting our clients in all aspects of their digital transformation projects.Job DescriptionWe’re looking for a UNIX/Linux Systems Engineer eager to strengthen their technical expertise and grow within a global infrastructure team.You’ll work on mission-critical environments (Linux, AIX, Cloud) across multiple international customers — troubleshooting, improving performance, and learning from senior experts.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with solid foundations in Linux system administration who wants to progress toward Level 3 responsibilities while gaining exposure to hybrid and enterprise environments.Key Responsibilities:Maintain and support Unix/Linux environments (RHEL, SUSE, AIX) — both on-premises and in theHandle Level 2 incidents, changes, and requests, escalating when needed and ensuring follow-through until closure.Collaborate with senior engineers on root cause analysis and problem management.Participate in system upgrades, patching cycles, and infrastructure improvement projects.Contribute to documentation and process improvement.Monitor system performance and availability through tools like Centreon, Datadog, or ServiceNow.Participate in on-call rotation (occasional evenings/weekends).Qualifications3–5 years of experience in Linux/UNIX system administrationHands-on experience with RHEL and SUSE environments.Strong troubleshooting and scripting abilities (Bash, Python, or Ansible)Familiarity with working in multi-client environmentsFamiliarity with monitoring tools (Centreon, Datadog, Zabbix, etc.).Understanding of storage, backup, and networking fundamentalsProfessional proficiency in English.Bachelor's degree in engineering, system administrator, etc...Preferred QualificationExposure to AWS, Azure, or other cloud platformsKnowledge of IBM AIX or Power SystemsIT company and or Consulting industries experienceMind-SetGood communication skills and ability to collaborate with remote teams.Curiosity, accountability, and a genuine desire to learn and take ownership.Multi-tasking mandatory Hands-onAdditional InformationColombia based jobRemoteWork for US company and clients
