Therefore our team creates high-end gaming content and games for various Mobile, PC, Console, and VR projects.Join our team of like-minded people passionate about a common goal and love for games as an Unreal Engine AI Developer!ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement AI features for enemy factions, bosses, ranged/magic combat, tactics, patrols, state evaluation;Create scalable behavior architecture for open-world encounters;Implement perception, EQS queries, spatial reasoning, and navigation logic;Work closely with animation and combat design to achieve fluid and reactive enemy performance;Optimize AI performance at scale for next-gen hardware;Support designers and animators with clear tools and workflows;Participate in planning, reviews, and knowledge-sharing rituals.Qualifications5+ years of professional experience in Unreal Engine (UE4/UE5) development;Strong experience with:Behavior Trees, Blackboards, EQS;Perception systems and navigation/obstacle avoidance;Combat AI for melee and ranged encounters;AI debugging/profiling tools.Proven contributions to sophisticated enemy behaviors in shipped or advanced prototype titles;Solid math and optimization skills for real-time systems;Excellent English communication and proactive remote collaboration;Self-organized, reliable, and comfortable working in a distributed, cross-functional team.About UsFounded in 2004, Virtuos is one of the largest independent video game development companies.
