If you're detail-oriented, proactive, and ready to make a meaningful difference in the surgical care experience, we want to hear from you!Schedule: Monday-Friday, daylight hoursNo weekends, holidays, or overnight shifts required!What You’ll Do: This role is essential to the coordination and success of inpatient and outpatient surgical procedures.
Coordinate and schedule surgeriesMaintain clear and timely communication with surgeons, clinical staff, and hospital departmentsObtain pre-certifications and ensure insurance information is accurate and up to dateTrack surgical utilization via internal tracking systemsCollaborate on special projects as assignedAct as a trusted liaison between physicians, clinical, and administrative teamsHigh school diploma or equivalent required. Completion of a medical assisting program or 2 years' experience in a medical field required. Proficiency in medical terminology preferred. Previous scheduling experience preferred. General knowledge of computer software and practice management databases is essential. Ability to deal compassionately and professionally with patients is essential.
