Role OverviewAs a Part-Time Event Producer, you will manage the planning, coordination, and on-site execution of events in collaboration with our design and production teams. You will be responsible for translating creative concepts into real-time event logistics, ensuring timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met while maintaining the highest level of client service. Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with designers and creative leads to understand event concepts and objectives.
Develop production timelines, run-of-shows, and event schedules. Source and manage vendors, freelance crews, and rental partners. Oversee event setup, installation, execution, and strike. Ensure compliance with venue regulations, permits, and insurance requirements. Manage on-site logistics, team communication, and client updates. Track and report event budgets, invoices, and production expenses. Conduct post-event debriefs and contribute to wrap reports. Budget & Quality Control Develop detailed budgets and track financial performance across projects, sometimes during the pitch phase through execution. Maintain rigorous quality control, ensuring all deliverables meet Tinsel’s standards. Conduct post-event evaluations to identify learnings and opportunities for future improvement.
Qualifications2+ years experience in event production, project coordination, or related field (preferably in the events, entertainment, or design industry). Exceptional organizational and time management skills. Ability to lead teams and multitask in high-pressure environments. Excellent communication and vendor negotiation skills. Proficient in Google Workspace, project management tools (e. g. , Trello, Asana), and production documentation. Availability to work evenings/weekends as per event schedules.
