Upstream Process Engineer

Vulcain Engineering Belgium is looking for a Upstream Process Engineer to join its consulting team.ABOUT THE POSITION:Process Development: Customer’s SPOC for the Design of the required equipment package, develop, and optimize upstream processes including cell culture and fermentation.FAT / SAT support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to test all the process equipment @ the vendor shop and on site. Document all required testing in relevant protocols and reportsTroubleshooting: Identify and resolve process-related and technical issues to maintain optimal production performance.Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of process equipment, User requirement and design qualification protocols and reports.Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all processes comply with regulatory requirements and cGMP industry standards.ABOUT YOU:You have a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in engineering, biochemical engineering, biotechnology, or related field.You have at least 5 years experience in upstream equipment design in the biotech or pharmaceutical industryYou are fluent in Dutch and EnglishExperience with bioreactors/culture systems and knowledge of automation systems is a plusABOUT USVulcain Engineering is a group specialized in the energy sector that supports companies active in Renewable & Nuclear Energy, Gas & Infrastructure through our Study Offices and Consultancy services.
