Second Line Support Engineer - Hybrid / RemoteAbout The Job@Uptime provide white label IT Support and NOC services to MSPs enabling them to extend the services they can offer their customers. This role involves working with a leading UK based MSP who will provide further training in order to assist the successful candidate in increasing their technical knowledge. Living in the Colombo area is a distinct advantage but not mandatory. ResponsibilitiesProviding 2nd Line support to a large client base (SME). Being able to act as a skilled point of escalation is key. An MSP background is preferred.
For this role it is vital that English language skills, both written and verbal are at a very high level. SkillsMS Windows Server: 2012, 2016, 2019. Microsoft 365. Azure & Azure AD. Microsoft 365. MS Exchange 2010 and above. Remote Desktop Server implementations. Networking - VLAN’s, Routers / Bridging. Security - Firewalls such as SonicWall, Fortinet, Cisco.
