Senior Sales Manager – Automation & Industrial SolutionsWe are seeking a Senior Sales Manager with a proven track record in the local Israeli market, particularly in industrial automation and technical sales. Responsibilities: Develop and execute the company’s sales strategy, driving the sales organization toward ambitious growth targets. Lead, mentor, and motivate sales teams, including area/product managers, technical sales engineers, and inside sales (back office). Provide ongoing professional and technical guidance, including tailored training programs and hands-on coaching at customer sites. Manage strategic relationships with international vendors and partners, maintaining long-term collaborations.
Actively support and participate in key, high-value deals, helping close complex sales opportunities. Recruit, onboard, and mentor new sales team members, nurturing a collaborative and performance-driven culture. Design and implement incentive and commission models to drive results. Build accurate sales forecasts, manage the sales budget, and ensure profitability. Requirements: At least 8 years of proven managerial experience in complex B2B sales within the Israeli market, including leading large and diverse teams. Hands-on experience in field sales or managing field-based sales operations. Strong background in automation machinery manufacturing, such as pneumatics, vacuum systems, vision sensors, or motion control – mandatory.
Deep expertise in technical product sales with long, consultative sales cycles. Strong marketing acumen and business insight, including market analysis, customer management, and strategic proposal leadership – required. Experience managing large-scale projects, budgets, and resource allocation while meeting financial KPIs. Excellent presentation and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to represent the company locally and internationally. Proficiency with CRM and BI tools, with the ability to analyze sales data and translate it into actionable insights. Deep understanding of the industrial sector, customer needs, and market dynamics. Fluent English – must be able to conduct negotiations and professional communication in English.
Relevant academic degree in engineering or management – required; master’s degree is an advantage. Outstanding interpersonal skills, service orientation, team collaboration, and the ability to positively influence the work environment. Proven ability to build and maintain long-term strategic partnerships.
