We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the failure analysis, testing and implementation of design improvements of mechanical solutions in our product maintenance programs. This is a key technical role, responsible for ensuring design excellence and quality for mechanical aspects.
You will work together with the quality department, member experience, data analytics and production testing related to our products in the maintenance phase. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in failure analysis of mechanical design and testing methods. As a senior team member, you will also provide technical leadership and collaborate with the quality department cross-functionally to ensure the desired product quality. What You will doLead root cause analysis and corrective actions for mechanical failuresEnsuring mechanics component quality over life-timeDrive continuous improvement initiatives for mechanical components, ensuring performance over product life-time, reliability, and manufacturability.
Evaluate and qualify alternative mechanical components, (2nd sources), ensuring seamless integration and cost-effectiveness. Collaborate closely with the sourcing department. Reviewing and improving production testing coverage for mechanical assemblies. Perform detailed mechanical design reviews and CAD analyses of existing products to identify opportunities for robustness improvements, material optimization, and assembly efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanics, quality, testing, electrical, and manufacturing engineers. Continuously research and implement new technologies and methods to improve product performance and quality. Review and approve design documentation, test procedures and engineering reports. Vendor and Partner Management:
Work with suppliers, manufacturing partners, and technology providers to deliver desired quality of components. We would love to have you on our team if You haveBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. 7+ years of experience in mechanical design and verification, with 3–5 years in a senior engineering role, including project leadership. Deep expertise in troubleshooting mechanical products including reliability failures, tolerance analysis, DFM/DFA, and various manufacturing processes. Problem Solving: Strong technical troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
Thorough understanding of the product maintenance activities, from the start of the mass production until the end of life of the product. Experience with design tools such as CAD software (e. g. , SolidWorks, NX). Prototyping and Validation: Hands-on experience with building and validating prototypes. Leadership: Proven ability to interact within engineering teams and deliver complex, multi-disciplinary projects.
