We’re backed by leading global VC funds.About The Team And This RoleThe tax team is our core execution engine — volumetric processing of US tax filings, assisted by the best technology and workflow automation tools. You'll be an integral part of this team which takes tax to the future.ResponsibilitiesPrepare federal and state tax returns (1120) and workpapers, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations, conducting tax research, and providing tax planning and advisory services. Draft replies for Tax Notices and compile required documents, including contacting state tax authorities and the IRS when needed. Stay updated on changes in tax regulations and work closely with clients to address tax-related queries and needs. Prepare and file 1099, W, Franchise Tax, 5471, 5472, FBAR, and BEA Forms for various accounting clients. Identify potential adjustments due to tax law changes and reflect them in work papers and returns. Research complex tax topics on a case-by-case basis. Maintain and lead client relationships on day-to-day tax matters, supporting partners with service execution and developing extended services. Proactively build relationships and communicate effectively with clients to provide superior service. Identify tax issues and propose potential solutions. Meet client deliverables per scope and deadlines, ensuring the quality of all deliverables. Who We’re Looking ForBachelor’s degree in accounting or an equivalent field. CPA or EA (Enrolled Agent) qualification is mandatory. 0–3 years of hands-on experience with US tax filings for corporations, especially Form 1120. Experience with CCH tax preparation software is preferred. Knowledge of tax laws and regulations. Strong command of English, both written and verbal. Strong analytical and research skills. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills. Working hours: Monday–Friday, based in our Bengaluru office, 12 PM–9 PM IST, to serve US customers.
