HCLTech is looking for a highly talented and self- motivated User Experience Designer (UXD) to join us in advancing the technological world through innovation and creativity.Job Title: User Experience DesignerJob ID: 2751974Position Type: Full-timeLocation: Dallas, TXRole Responsibilities: Act as the bridge between UX/UI designers, developers, and product teams—translating design components into usable, accessible, and production-ready solutions. Help maintain the integrity of design systems, integrate updates across platforms, and champion best practices for adoption. Your work will empower teams to design and build faster while delivering a cohesive, customer-first experience at scale.Design System Implementation: Design and maintain design system and integrate components into development environments, ensuring fidelity between design and production. Collaborate with designers and engineers to refine and document component specifications, usage guidelines, and interaction patterns. Manage versioning, updates, and rollouts of design system libraries across teams and platforms.Collaboration & Support: Partner with UX/UI designers to translate visual and interaction patterns into reusable coded components. Work closely with developers to ensure system components are performant, accessible, and easy to implement. Provide training, onboarding, and guidance to product teams adopting the design system.Governance & Quality: Ensure consistency and alignment across products by advocating for design system usage and best practices. Audit existing implementations to identify gaps, inconsistencies, or deviations from standards. Collaborate with accessibility experts to ensure all components meet WCAG and inclusive design standards.Continuous Improvement: Gather feedback from design and engineering teams to evolve the system based on real-world use. Contribute documentation, playbooks, and usage examples that make the system more approachable and scalable. Stay current with emerging design system tools, frameworks, and integration practices.Qualifications5–7 years of experience working directly developing design systems, connecting design and engineering workflows, and ensuring design systems are consistently implemented, scalable, and effective across digital products.3+ years of hands-on experience using Figma advanced functionality: Variable modes, conditionals, nested instances, auto layout for responsive components.Proven track record of working at the intersection of design and development.Excellent collaboration and communication skills with cross-functional teams.Strong understanding of responsive UI design, accessibility standards, and design-to-code workflows.Experience maintaining or contributing to a shared design system or component library.Experience with design system governance, documentation platforms (Zeroheight, Storybook, Confluence).Experience with design tokens, complex component creation, style dictionaries, and scalable theming approaches.Preferred Qualifications: Experience designing for B2C / E-Commerce platforms. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
