With a strong focus on innovation, security, and accessibility, they help drive digital transformation and create positive social impact.Our client is building the future of AI-powered video experiences in Copilot — and we’re looking for an experienced UX Researcher to help shape that vision.You’ll plan and lead research studies from scoping to synthesis, translating insights into product direction in partnership with designers, language engineers, product managers, and applied scientists. You’ll explore how people create, edit, and experience video in new multimodal ways, helping make video accessible to everyone.ResponsibilitiesPlan and execute quantitative, qualitative and mixed-methods studies to uncover insights about how people create, edit, and consume video.Analyze and synthesize data across multiple sources to identify opportunities and measure impact.Collaborate with cross-disciplinary partners to inform both product and AI evaluation efforts.Present findings in compelling, actionable ways to influence design and engineering teams.Who you are7+ years’ direct experience in UX, design research or similar roles, ideally within technology (we value equivalent experience and nontraditional paths).Skilled at framing problems, designing mixed-methods studies, and communicating insights clearly.Curiosity about AI and multimodal experiences, previous AI-related work is a plus but not required.Thrive in collaborative, inclusive environments that value reflection and experimentation.The ideal background of a candidate for this role:We’re looking for an experienced UX or design researcher (7+ years of professional experience) who has led studies from planning to synthesis and turned insights into meaningful product change.You may come from technology, creative tools, education, or productivity products, as long as they demonstrate curiosity, rigor, and influence in their work.We're looking for candidates with a collaborative and proactive mindset. Willing to take the first steps, learn about their teams, share rough drafts early and often to seek feedback, and also with experience to suggest better paths if the team's requests aren't great.Experience with AI or multimodal systems is a plus, but not a requirement.We also welcome applicants with nontraditional or adjacent backgrounds (e.g., human factors, social sciences, data-driven research) who bring transferable skills and a passion for inclusive, evidence-based design.Our team truly cares about having an expert that thrives on shared experimentation, works transparently and collaboratively, creating space for others to learn, iterate, and improve together, even when the work’s still rough.Top 3 Skills Required:6 years' experience in mixed method UXR: solid qualitative and quantitative method experience (interviews, surveys, diary studies, concept testing, basic statistical analysis).6 years' experience autonomy end to end: self-sufficient scoping, executing, and synthesizing research in fast-paced product environments; comfort with ambiguity.5 years' experience Storytelling for influence: Turning complex data into clear, actionable insights and artefacts that shape product and AI evaluation decisions; high communication craft.
