User Interface / User Experience Designer

We are looking for a UI/UX designer to design web interfaces as well as mobile interfaces required turning our software into easy-to-use products for our clients. The focus will be for Trading platforms, Customer Portals and Back Office Systems. This designer shall also assist in creating a decent user experience for customer journey in using our platforms.The U/UX shall identify new opportunities to create better user experiences. There shall always be a focus on designing something that is aesthetically pleasing, branding strategies to help provide an easy-to-use platform and systems to suit customers' needs. This designer will also ensure that the end-to-end journey of our customers while using our platform meets desired outcomes.Responsibilities:Understand and gather requirements from users for application system development.Translate the requirements into UI/UX designIllustrating design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps.Designing graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgetsBuild page navigation buttons and search fieldsDevelop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look likeCreate original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholdersIdentify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback.Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors and images.Communicate with the development team to develop an application in alignment to the UI/UX design.Working closely with rest of team in Vietnam, Indonesia and SingaporeRevamp existing corporate websites for Straits Financial to improve the overall UI/UX design.Implement the design created using WIX for Straits Financial Corporate websites.Requirements:Minimum 3 years’ experience in UI/UX design.Ability to pick up simple web development work using WIX and/or WordPress.Self-motivated, high level of dependability, organization, attention to detail, strong communication and problem-solving skills required.
