Haystack is working with an employer on this opportunity!📍 Hybrid, LondonDescriptionWe’re looking for a UX/UI Designer to help shape digital products used by hundreds of thousands of people every day. You’ll join a team building apps and tools that power rail ticketing and station experiences across the UK - where technology meets transport and design meets human journeys.You’ll take ownership of end-to-end design across mobile and web, crafting elegant, accessible experiences that make complex systems feel effortless. Working closely with engineers and product teams, you’ll turn insights into impactful designs and help scale a cohesive design system across multiple brands.What you’ll doLead UX/UI design across multiple product areas, from concept to deliveryCreate high-quality artefacts - journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and UI designsCollaborate with engineering to ensure smooth handover and implementationUse research, analytics, and testing to inform design decisionsTranslate user insights into clear, usable, and inclusive design solutionsConduct and evaluate A/B tests to validate design hypothesesMaintain and evolve the design system for consistency and scalabilityChampion accessibility and inclusive design (WCAG standards)Share best practice and help drive innovation within the design teamCore skills & experience4+ years’ experience designing digital products for web and/or mobileStrong portfolio demonstrating UX thinking and polished UI executionExperience designing for complex or data-rich environmentsAdvanced Figma skills and familiarity with modern prototyping toolsComfortable working with user research, testing, and data-driven designUnderstanding of accessibility standards and inclusive design principlesExcellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skillsNice to haveExperience in travel, e-commerce, or fintech sectorsFamiliarity with design systems at scaleKnowledge of front-end development constraints and opportunitiesBenefitsHybrid working (2 days a week in London, near London Bridge)25 days annual leave, plus one extra day each year (up to 30)Private medical and dental insurance (Vitality)Free Fitness First gym membershipWork abroad up to 30 days per yearDedicated learning & development budgetCycle to Work schemeCompetitive salary with annual reviews
