UX Designer – Remote / Switzerland – Contract

One of Switzerlands leading energy and technology organisations are looking for an experienced UX Designer to join their growing team on a long-term contract.This role is a varied position, where you will get chance to work across multiple digital projects, shape user experiences that balance functionality, design excellence and strategic business goals.This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on designer with strong stakeholder management skills, comfortable driving user-centred design processes in a fast-paced, agile environment.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct and synthesise user research to create personas, journey maps, and actionable insights. Design information architecture, user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes with a strong focus on accessibility and usability. Apply and extend an existing design system; create developer-ready specifications and suggest improvements where appropriate. Plan and conduct usability tests, analyse results, and iterate designs based on evidence. Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers throughout the full design process, from scoping and handoffs to QA. Document and present design work clearly, maintaining traceability from user needs to implementation. Partner with the Lead UX Designer on assigned projects and contribute to the wider UX community within the organisation. Ideal Background / ExperienceMinimum of 6 years’ professional experience in UX/UI design, with a portfolio demonstrating full project lifecycles. Proficiency in Figma for design and prototyping. Deep understanding of UX and UI design principles, including layout, typography, accessibility, and interaction design. Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work independently across multiple features or projects simultaneously. Self-motivated, proactive, and collaborative mindset with a strong attention to detail.
