UX/UI Design Lead (LatAm)

We’re looking for a highly skilled and motivated UX/UI Design Lead to partner with our fast-paced, innovative digital marketing agency on a freelance basis. In this role, you’ll take the lead in shaping exceptional user experiences across multiple website projects. We’re seeking a problem solver with a sharp eye for detail who’s passionate about crafting engaging, interactive web-based deliverables.What You'll DoCollaborate with creative leadership, project managers, designers, and developers to understand project goals, user requirements, and design specificationsCreate wireframes to later translate designs into responsive, intuitive, and visually appealing user interfacesDesign and develop visually appealing websites, ensuring a seamless user experienceDevelop and maintain a consistent and cohesive UI design system, ensuring brand guidelines and design patterns are followed across all digital platformsCreate interactive prototypes and user flows to visualize and validate design concepts and functionalityUnderstand how to implement front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to create seamless and engaging user interfaces and solve specific UI challengesOptimize applications for maximum speed and scalability while ensuring cross-browser and cross-device compatibility and accessibility standards (WCAG AA)Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, icons, and illustrations)Proactively report to our internal Project Manager and manage your schedule to ensure all deadlines are met.Who You AreExperienced with UI design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, and SketchStrong understanding of UX/UI principles and ability to implement user-centric design solutionsKnowledge of responsive and mobile-first design principles, with an emphasis on optimizing user experiences across various devices and screen sizesA true team player who can work closely with othersA keen eye for detail, while combining functionality and aestheticsAbility to discuss and explain design optionsAbility to work on other design-related projects, which can be more focused on graphic or editorial design.Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.Interested in learning new skills and keeping up to date with best practices and emerging trends in user experience design and user interface.Demonstrated ability to stay up-to-date with the latest web development trends and technologiesStrong verbal and written communication skills in 1:1 and group meetings, both internal and client facingAt a minimum, basic knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3$50 - $90 an hourAbout TerraTerra is a digital marketing and creative agency built by an integrated and international team of content creators, strategists, designers, and developers.
