The Proto platform continues to evolve as the AI communications backbone for our clients — within strict compliance to our SOC2 Type II, ISO27001, GDPR, and HIPAA certifications.About The TeamProto’s team is extremely global with 80% BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and Persons of Colour) and 50% female management working across 15+ countries. We’re a remote team of self-starting and entrepreneurial SaaS engineers, operations and growth professionals. Our remote team follows established processes for cross-cultural and timezone collaboration, with opportunities to periodic in-person work opportunities.Key ResponsibilitiesB2B SaaS AI-based product design (this is a general description of our product, any experience with such products specifically, including any chatbot related products, is a plus)Design & Prototype: Conceptualize, design, and iterate on user-centric interfaces for the Proto.cx platform. This includes creating user flows, wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity, interactive prototypes.User Research: Collaborate with the product team to understand user behavior, gather feedback through usability testing, and translate insights into design improvements.Design Systems: Contribute to and maintain our design system to ensure consistency, scalability, and efficiency across the entire product suite.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and customer experience specialists to define requirements, solve problems, and deliver a polished, cohesive product experience.Stay Current: Keep up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies, and be a vocal advocate for user-centered design principles within the company.QualificationsMust have product example in the portfolio where we can check online. Please indicate URLs on your resume/profile for our checking.Proven experience as a UX/UI Designer, Product Designer, or a similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design process and outcomes for web applications (B2B or SaaS experience is a huge plus).Proficiency in modern design and prototyping tools such as Figma.Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.Experience creating and maintaining design systems.Working knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS). While this is not a pure development role, you should be able to understand and communicate effectively with engineers.Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for detail, typography, and color.Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions clearly.A self-starter who is comfortable working in a remote, fast-paced, and global team environment.Proto.cx is an equal opportunity employer.
