POSITION SUMMARY: The Business Process Analyst will sit within our corporate Supply Chain group. The Business Process Analyst is a detail-oriented and analytical role that focuses on the evaluation, design, implementation, sustainment and training of global supply chain business processes and effective Enterprise Resource Planning software (HxGN EAM) utilization. The role will work closely with your global cross-functional finance, planning, accounting and operational peers to jointly identify areas for budget-to-pay (B2P) process and systems/software improvements.

The role will also be responsible for the coordination of Vaalco’s global supplier onboarding, material master creation and supply chain data analytics reporting. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Analyze supply chain and HxGN EAM utilization processes, identify bottlenecks and recommend, implement and sustain improvements to streamline workflows and daily operations Global focal point for HxGN EAM utilization issues, troubleshooting and training within the global operations and supply chain supporting functionUtilizing HxGN EAM, global collation, analyzing and presentation of system generated data and key performance indicators (KPI’s) related to supply chain operationsCoordinate and facilitate with Vaalco’s accounting, finance and tax departments, new global supplier registration & onboarding.

This shall include engaging with suppliers to verify supplier information records and notification of supplier and Vaalco end-users of onboarding status As the primary contact, coordinate global Material Master creation with HxGN EAMMiscellaneous duties as assigned by management. EDUCATION & REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Certificate or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, finance or accounting10 years of oil and gas industry experience – preferably within a global supply chain functionMinimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Process Analyst (Supply Chain, Accounting or Finance)SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS, AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

Fluent in English (Written and Spoken)Proficiency in using Enterprise Resourcing Software (ERP) – HxGN EAM would be beneficial Proficiency with Visio or similar processing mapping softwareProficiency with technical writing of procedures or procedural aidsProficiency with excel and data management collation and presentation Travel to Vaalco’s international office locations may be required (up to 10%)PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Requires sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes, to permit the employee to function in a general office environment and accomplish tasks and duties as outlined above.
