Job Description

We are a specialty vaccine company that develops, manufactures, and commercializes prophylactic vaccines for infectious diseases addressing unmet medical needs. ResponsibilitiesWe are currently looking for a motivated Technical Assistant (m/f/d) to join our Quality Control team in Vienna. Your key responsibilities are: Testing of release and stability samples for market products using various analytical methods (immunological and chemico-physical tests, such as ELISA, qPCR, HPLC, UV/VIS spectrophotometry, cell-based assays, ICP-OES etc.

) Ensuring compliance with SOPs Culturing eukaryotic cells and performing cell-based assays Review, revision and verification of analytical data and documentation Creation, revision and review of GMP-relevant documents (e. g. deviations, changes, etc.

) Material management upkeep & ordering Assumption of responsibility as back-up planner of laboratory activities Requirements Completed HTL/FH/University in a relevant scientific field with practical experience in a GxP-regulated environment Experience in laboratory settings with excellent laboratory skills (cell culture, immunological assays) is preferred Experience with cell-based assays ideally under BSL-2 conditions is an advantage Experience in creating SOPs and GMP/GDP documentation as a plus Experience with maintenance and servicing of laboratory equipment as nice-to-have Accurate work style, team player and excellent communication skills Excellent knowledge of spoken and written English with high social skills Ability to work on diverse projects in a fast-growing, international environment BenefitsWorking with Valneva means being part of a global biotech company with a clear vision to make a meaningful impact in the world.

However our salaries are market oriented and in line with your qualifications and experience.
