Job Description

Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and proactive IT Network Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and supporting the organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring network reliability, device functionality, data security, and seamless user support. Roles And ResponsibilitiesMaintain and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, and related hardware/software to ensure optimal performance. Provide hands-on technical support to users and resolve system issues in a timely manner. Monitor, configure, and maintain network security systems including firewalls, antivirus, and data protection protocols. Administer servers (Windows/Linux), manage routine maintenance, backups, and performance optimization.

Create, manage, and deactivate user accounts, permissions, and group policies. Track and manage IT hardware and software inventory; ensure up-to-date asset records and license compliance. Maintain and manage structured cabling, switches, routers, and wireless devices. Install, upgrade, and patch operating systems and software as needed. Coordinate with third-party vendors for IT procurement, AMC services, and system warranties. Document all IT processes, incidents, and solutions for knowledge sharing and compliance. Ensure data backup and recovery plans are implemented and tested regularly. Conduct periodic IT audits and recommend improvements to reduce risk and increase efficiency.

Train users on basic IT best practices and tools usage. Handle basic administrative tasks such as IT budgeting, purchase requests, and vendor follow-ups. RequirementsMinimum 3 years of proven experience in IT and network/system administration. Strong understanding of hardware troubleshooting, OS support, and network infrastructure. Proficiency in configuring and managing firewalls, switches, servers, and VPNs. Familiarity with Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and group policy management. Experience with backup solutions and disaster recovery planning. Strong stock/inventory management skills for IT assets and consumables. Excellent documentation, organizational, and communication skills.
