VAT Manager (Ref:jcrHy)

An exciting opportunity to join our client's team at a leading global professional services firm operating in over 100 countries. We are looking for a VAT Manager to join this organization.Main objectivesResponsible for managing and growing a portfolio of clients by providing high-quality strategic tax support, planning, and advisory services, as well as tax compliance.ResponsibilitiesManage the client portfolio and continue to grow and develop it. You will participate in business development initiatives, including pitches, client presentations, and identifying opportunities for new product / service offerings.Advise clients operating in different industries on VAT matters (assessment of VAT treatments, conducting VAT reviews, etc).Work with technology-based compliance solutions ensuring (e-Invoicing, e-Transport, e-VAT, SAF-T).Provide assistance during tax audits.Oversee and review the preparation and filing of VAT statements, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely submission.Act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients (both with the client's representative but also with the tax authorities).Build, lead, coach, and develop a team of junior&senior tax professionals and ensure high standards of client service, know-how and technical excellency.Collaborate closely with the other Business Lines to meet client needs and identify common opportunities.Requirements4 to 6 years of relevant experience, ideally within a financial consulting, professional services or law firm.Proven technical experience within VAT advisory.Practical and technical experience in VAT reporting (VAT compliance, e-Invoicing, e-Transport).Ability to manage multiple client relationships and deliver projects within deadlines and budgets.Strong leadership, team management, and mentoring capabilities.Autonomous and business-oriented; capacity to solve complex issues in a pragmatic manner;Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.What you will find with this jobIn this role, you will have the freedom and responsibility, and the organization's support to develop a team and your own business case to grow your career.Competitive financial package with benefits such as health insurance, performance bonuses, and private pension fund.Support for obtaining professional qualifications and additional training days.A people-focused organizational culture promoting work-life balance and continuous learning.In addition to the salary, the company offers the following benefitsA competitive financial package, including but not limited to budget for a flexible benefit platform, health insurance, yearly performance bonuses and, based on your tenure, private pension fund;An environment where personal development is supported, with training curricula adapted to the individual.Support in obtaining relevant professional qualifications, full program costs supported and extra 5 days/year for training purposes;A people-focused organizational culture of continuous learning and coaching and mindful of work-life balance.What is RSight®RSight® is a next-generation recruitment solution, committed to the values of fairness, transparency, and human-centric hiring.
