On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Vendor Manager for a 1-year role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.Vendor Manager - Job Description:The Vendor Manager will be involved in Project Eagle, focusing on contract management within a regulatory environment. This role involves reviewing and negotiating contracts to align with the bank's standards, primarily focusing on technology and IT contracts.Vendor Manager - Responsibilities:• Negotiate and draft contracts, including outsourcing, managed services, and IT-related agreements.• Manage a portfolio of contracts, ensuring all aspects of negotiation and execution are completed.• Act as an interface between Sourcing, Legal, external vendors, and Business Lines.• Provide subject matter expertise in reviewing and implementing contracts.• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards.• Collaborate with stakeholders and senior management to achieve business objectives.Vendor Manager - Mandatory Skills:• Ability to negotiate legal terms.• Strong communication skills.• Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.• Experience in reviewing contracts.• Strong broad-based understanding of IT.• Highly organized and proactive.• Proficient with MS Office suite.Vendor Manager – Nice-to-Have Skills:• Experience in negotiation within the Financial Industry (FI).• Exposure to the regulatory space.Vendor Manager – Assignment Length:This is a 1-year contract position.Vendor Manager - Start Date:ASAP.Vendor Manager - Assignment Location:Toronto, Ontario, Canada – Hybrid, with 2 days in-office, eventually increasing to 4 days.
