Job Offer – Field Operator (Energy Sector – LNG)? Location: Brunsbüttel, Germany? Start Date: ImmediateWe are currently seeking a Field Operator to join a leading organization in the energy infrastructure sector. The company is undergoing a period of transformation and international growth, playing a strategic role in energy transition and supply security. This position is based at our facilities in Brunsbüttel, Germany. This is an excellent opportunity for technically skilled professionals looking to build their careers in one of the most critical and innovative areas of the energy industry: liquefied natural gas (LNG) infrastructure.

? MissionOperate and supervise plant activities in accordance with established procedures, ensuring safety, efficiency, and environmental compliance in the execution of production programs. ?? Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor process parameters and ensure structured and accurate shift handovers. Operate equipment in compliance with standing instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and permit-to-work systems. Ensure the safe performance of process equipment and maintain backup availability. Identify and report abnormalities or process deviations to the Shift Supervisor. Record operational data accurately and monitor equipment performance continuously. Coordinate the safe handover of equipment for maintenance and return to service in accordance with permit-to-work procedures.

Respond promptly to process or safety emergencies following company HSE protocols. Collaborate with maintenance, laboratory, and other service departments to ensure uninterrupted operations. Conduct routine inspections, safety rounds, and basic maintenance tasks (sampling, lubrication, filter changes, etc. ). Prepare chemical stock/consumption reports and manage supply needs accordingly. Maintain high standards of housekeeping and safety in line with HSE procedures. ? Technical Knowledge & SkillsOperational knowledge of LNG / natural gas systems. Familiarity with chromatography and gas metering technologies is an asset. Understanding of emergency procedures, safety equipment, and working in classified zones. General awareness of pollution prevention systems and safe working practices.

Experience with LNG marine operations (loading, unloading, Ship-to-Ship, FSRU regasification) is a plus, though not mandatory. ? Education & ExperienceTechnical degree or engineering qualification required. Recent graduates or early-career professionals from the oil & gas industry are welcome to apply. ? Language & Competency RequirementsFluent English (C1 level minimum). German language skills desirable (B2 level). Strong analytical thinking, planning, and teamwork abilities will be highly valued. ?
