Job Description

Verisure is seeking a talented, innovative, passionate Group Strategy & Business Intelligence Intern to join our growing Group Strategy and M&A team. This role will report into the Group Head of Strategy and M&A. You will work closely on topics of high interest and visibility to the company management team, including the group’s CEO, CFO and Regional General Managers. Our Group Strategy team is based in in our group headquarters in Versoix, Geneva. You will be a key member of our Strategy and M&A Team.

This is a unique opportunity to play a critical role and have a direct impact on feeding the management team’s conversations on strategy, growing Verisure’s business internationally, and being part of a growing, ambitious and high-performing company that is the market leader in Europe and Latin America. Our group Management Team is now supporting the business’ next phase of growth with a robust business plan for value creation. As Group Strategy & Business Intelligence Intern, you will be responsible for understanding and keeping a pulse on Verisure’s competitive environment and the category at large. You will be instrumental in generating strategic insights on the business environment, consumer expectations and fast evolving competitive context, helping to drive the Group strategic agenda for the CEO and Management Team to act upon.

Key ResponsibilitiesThis role provides an outstanding platform for a highly talented individual to work on critical competitive and category intelligence projects and work closely with the Management Team of the company. Category Intelligence: support the development of a structured and organized Category Intelligence function (including keeping track of consumer online activities, app downloads, retail and Amazon sales)Competitive Intelligence:

tracking and profiling main competitors in each of Verisure’s geographies (both to track the competitive context and as competitors of today may make M&A targets for tomorrow)Prepare presentations to relevant stakeholders, including CEO, CFO and BoardIn general, inform the Management Team’s conversations on Group strategy. Candidate profileExperiences and competenciesThe successful candidate will have an outstanding academic background, and a proven track record as a proactive, solution-oriented advisor focused on driving value to the business.

Top, successful educational background (engineering or business administration)Ideally some initial experience, preferably with top Strategy Consulting, Finance or BankingStrong analytical skills (data organization and processing, sifting nuggets from noise)Flawless confidentialityResourcefulness (not all data is easy to find, not all is in English, some needs to be inferred)Detail orientation and impeccable precisionReliability and transparencyInsights (needle in a haystack) and creativity (future is yet to be written)Excellent written and verbal communications skillsAbsolutely fluent English; French and/or Spanish are plusesStrong fit with our Company DNAPassionate in Everything We Do:
