Your Responsibilities Will Include, But Are Not Limited ToInstalling, monitoring, commissioning, testing and maintaining of equipment associated with providing telecommunications services in both technical facilities and customer property. You’ll be working in the central office, customer premises, and earth stations, and work with state-of-the-art equipment!Installing cabling and cross connects. Maintaining new and existing circuits through troubleshooting and fault isolation techniques. Coordinating the testing and turn-up of services with all involved providers. Reviewing, interpreting and analyzing services requests, work orders, and circuit diagrams.
Climbing ladders, working aloft, perceiving differences in wire and cable colors, distinguishing audio tones, and moving/lifting items generally not exceeding 100 lbs. Working evenings, weekends, holidays and unscheduled shifts as determined by the needs of the business. What We’re Looking For…You know analog, digital, and transmission telecommunications technology and are anxious to put your knowledge and skills to work on Verizon’s network. You like to be busy and well-organized to stay on top of things. You know that the whole team needs to work together to win—and you take pride in a job well done.
You’ll Need To HaveValid state driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record. United States confidential Security Clearance. Even better if you have one or more of the following: Related Associate degree or 2 or more years of relevant work experience. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more.
