Job Description

This OpportunitySeeking an Associate Master Planner (USN) for multiple sites within INDOPACOM-Marshall Islands region (USAG-KA (Kwajalein and Roi-Namur)) in support of LOGCAP V. This position assists the Master Planner with real property requirements and inspections in coordination with the Engineering Section in support of the LOGCAP contract for Kwajalein Atoll. Works with the Engineering Manager in support of U. S. Army Garrison- Kwajalein Atoll Directorate of Public Works. Join our team and grow with us as we provide best in-class services that help clients solve their most complex challenges. Your Impact Conduct facility inspections throughout the U. S.

Army Garrison- Kwajalein Atoll in support of client real property and Installation Services Requirements (ISR) documentation requirements. Develop processes, procedures, and technical inspection checklists to assess facility and infrastructure conditions. Manage and train a junior inspector in facility inspections processes and procedures. Assists Master Planner in providing management, planning, development, organizational, administrative, and coordination services for all base real property programs. Assist Master Planner in the evaluation of new construction, renovations, and improvements to real property facilities from start to finish, including the performance of pre-construction site surveys all the way to completion of as-built drawings.

As necessary, on behalf of the Master Planner, participate in facilitate meetings, participate in stakeholder discussions, and provide guidance to large, multi-disciplinary teams on complex master planning assignments. Occasional short notice travel within the Kwajalein Atoll. Other duties as determined by project leadership. Required QualificationsMust have computer skills and be able to operate a variety of computer programs.

Must be able to speak, read and write English fluentlyMust maintain a valid driver’s license from their home country with validity for 12 months from on-site employment dateMust maintain a valid passport from their home country with validity for 12 months from on-site employment date. Passport must have a minimum of 6 blank pages prior to OCONUS mobilization. Must satisfy the USARPAC Force Health Protection Guidance medical requirements for INDOPACOM prior to OCONUS mobilization, must be able to maintain a Medically Qualified (MQ) rating on an annual basis.

Must be CAC eligible and able to gain and maintain authorized entry onto US military installations. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. Additional Required QualificationsPossess expert knowledge and experience with facility inspections related to facility improvement projects and new construction and associated tasks including reviewing technical documents, blueprints, as built drawings, and archival information.

Must have knowledge of facility and infrastructure solutions in support of military operations to include in contingency environments (DD Form 1391s, Project Planning Estimates, Project Estimates, etc. )Must have excellent knowledge and working experience with facility and infrastructure guidance to include Unified Facilities Code (UFC), Department of Defense Manuals, Army and US Army Corps of Engineers regulations, other Service (USAF, USN, etc. ) and Joint Service and Combatant Command manuals (example, The Sand Book, Rhino Book, etc. )Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills to include a specific knowledge of technical military writing style and format.

Must be able to work with military personnel, US Government officials and personnel from other firms/companies to meet client requirements. Highly familiar with construction inspection principles, field inspection practices, processes, methods, and techniques. Highly familiar with relevant construction codes, regulations, compliance practices, and record-keeping requirements. 3 - 7 years’ experience in facility and infrastructure planning and inspection requiredBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Urban Planning, or similar/related field required (Master’s degree preferred)Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, etc.

) requiredFamiliarity with AutoCAD and ArcGIS proficiency desiredProfessional Engineer (PE), Registered Architect (RA) or American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) preferredProject Management Professional (PMP) desired Role CharacteristicsGreat interpersonal skills.
