Think: the elegance of physics, the clarity of Apple, and the immersive energy of Tron.Our mission is to make software engineering visual, intuitive, and cinematic.Now, we’re ready to bring that world to life on camera through breathtaking videos, cinematic VFX, and storytelling that inspires the next generation of creators.The RoleWe’re seeking a VFX & Video Production Co-Founder. Someone who can become a bold, technical, and creative visionary who thrives at the intersection of cinema, technology, and storytelling.You’ll be the creative force behind our visual identity, helping craft a cinematic world that merges real-world footage and 3D environments from body-tracked Tron suits to digital landscapes and futuristic visual metaphors for software, freedom, and creativity.You’ll help shape how the world feels GridSeak.You’ll Be DoingLead the creative direction and production of cinematic short films, YouTube videos, trailers, and visual demos that showcase GridSeak’s world.Create and composite VFX scenes (body tracking, holographic overlays, virtual suits, digital grids, motion graphics).Direct shoots, film on set, and bring energy and presence in front of the camera when needed.Integrate storytelling with technology using visuals to explain complex ideas (e.g., code visualization, AI, creativity, or human-tech harmony).Collaborate directly with the founder (Aden) to define GridSeak’s narrative voice and visual world.Design and execute full production pipelines: concept → storyboard → filming → compositing → color → delivery.Contribute ideas for social content, teasers, behind-the-scenes, and brand storytelling across all platforms.Optionally help build the in-house cinematic pipeline for future VR / holographic interactive content.You Might Be a Fit IfYou’re obsessed with storytelling through visuals.You have proven skills in After Effects, Blender, Unreal, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools.You can body track, rotoscope, or composite futuristic elements (suits, HUDs, light grids).You understand camera work, lighting, sound, and editing or love learning every part of the process.You love Tron, Iron Man HUDs, Apple product videos, or cinematic storytelling in tech.You think both artistically and technically, and thrive in startup chaos.You’ve dreamed of building something big and valuable for the world.You’re willing to invest sweat equity for meaningful ownership and creative freedom.What’s in It for YouEquity partnership in an early-stage frontier software company with massive upside.Creative freedom to shape a world from scratch visually, narratively, and emotionally.Collaboration with a technical founder who values art, design, and storytelling as much as code.Future potential for revenue sharing, paid production budgets, and leadership of a growing creative team.Opportunity to leave a permanent artistic and cultural mark on how the next generation experiences technology.Bonus Points ForExperience in motion capture, body tracking (Rokoko, Kinect, Unreal Metahumans, etc.)A personal YouTube channel or previous cinematic VFX workSkills in color grading, sound design, or editingA reel that makes people feel something (awe, curiosity, or belief)Passion for software, AI, or visual metaphors for human creativityHow to Stand out As You ApplySend your portfolio or reel, your favorite work you’ve done (personal or professional), and a few lines on why this kind of project excites you to:[Founder: Aden: inquire@gridschool.org]Include:A short intro about who you areLinks to your work (YouTube, Vimeo, Instagram, etc.)Any relevant technical skills or gear you ownWhy you’d want to help build GridSeak’s cinematic universeGridSeak: it’s a movement for engineers and creators who see beauty in code, art in logic, and meaning in design.If you are truely passionate about what you do and you fit a large percentage of the critera above, lets talk, and potentially join us in building the visual frontier of software.
