Job Description

This is a full-time position to work in admin hours in our ATMOS Logistics Center, Lagunilla Heredia. Remote work might be allowed based on business needs. The Logistics area is in charge of business planning framework, responsible for making sure products reach their destinations safely, securely and on-time. Is responsible for organizing transportation activities, including storage of goods, managing information accrued from point of origin to delivery, orchestrating transportation movements through logistic pathways, and arranging for services as necessary. Our Logistics Specialists Are In Charge OfMaintain regular communication with planning, purchasing - procurement, receiving and incoming inspection personnel.

Collaboration with other areas when needed and the workload allows it. Inform to the immediate supervisor of any opportunities for improvement in your workspaceCarry out customs procedures for imports and couriers. Provide accurate HTS classifications dossiers to support the classification of products under various HTS laws and in turn support internal business units to ensure compliance with Customs regulations and other trade requirements. Request quotes and comparisons for the best logistics method to be used for load entry / exit management. Coordinate with other departments the required requirements for import process.

Direct coordination with Supervisory positions on guidelines of any activity of interest for the company to pursue continuous improvement. Manage the required permissions for the inbound logistics process. Complete official government forms with correct data in a timely manner. Control company´s customs documentation. Contribute to the OTD – OTR goals of the company through a robust shipping process, providing to our customers all necessary documentation and fulfilling any special requirements. Complete all assigned tasks as delegated by the supervisor. Provide external and internal customer service. Provide timely response to the status of in-process loads.

Monitor shipments to ensure that goods are delivered on time, and in the event of problems trace shipments andfollow up undelivered goods to provide updates to the Customers (Internal-External). Knowledge / EducationUniversity degree (Bachelor) in Industrial Engineering, Administration or related field of study. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Knowledge on TICA platform. Intermediate English level. Knowledge on ERP systems (plus)Experience within the medical device manufacturing field or in any other regulated industry. (plus)Knowledge of statistical techniques (Green Belt).
