Vice President – Equity Operations / Middle Office📍 Location: Jacksonville, FL (On-site)Our client a top tier financial services firm is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President to join their Equity Operations and Middle Office team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of equity trade flows, operational processes, and risk management, combined with strong communication and problem-solving abilities.Responsibilities:Oversee daily trade support and settlement functions across equity products.Assist in mentoring a team of middle office professionals, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal and external requirements.Partner with trading desks, technology, risk, and finance to streamline processes and support new business initiatives.Manage operational risk and implement effective controls and process improvements.Serve as an escalation point for complex trade breaks, reconciliations, and exception management.Drive automation and efficiency through workflow optimization and technology enhancements.Collaborate with senior management to align middle office strategy with overall business objectives.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field; advanced degree or certifications (CFA, MBA) a plus.10+ years of experience within Equity Operations, Middle Office, or Trade Support functions.Experience leading/mentoring high-performing teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment would be a plus.Strong understanding of equity products (cash equities, derivatives, swaps, etc.) and trade lifecycle.Proficiency with industry systems (e.g., Omgeo CTM, DTCC, Bloomberg, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite.Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned professional to make a strategic impact within a growing operations team.
