In this strategic leadership role, you’ll lead a high performing team delivering high-impact projects for some of the world’s largest OEMs in the renewables industry. Your expertise will shape world-class project governance, drive performance excellence, and set new benchmarks for project execution. This is more than just managing timelines and budgets, it's about driving customer satisfaction, fostering long-term partnerships, and influencing executive decisions to propel Power & Controls towards its strategic goals.You will be a member of the Power & Controls leadership team,Contribute to the development and execution of the Power & Controls strategy, ensuring strategic projects are aligned with divisional objectives.Represent the project execution and delivery perspective in leadership decision-making forums.Collaborate with other senior leaders to drive cross-functional alignment, operational excellence, and customer-centric thinking across the division.Support initiatives for continuous improvement, risk management, and organizational development within Power & Controls.Act as a role model for leadership behaviors and values, fostering a high-performance culture.As Head of PMO,Lead and develop the Project Management Office (PMO) team, building project management competencies and best practices.Oversee planning, execution, and governance of strategic projects for key customers, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and on-quality delivery.Ensure strong stakeholder and resource coordination across functions (Engineering, Operations, Quality, Sourcing) to deliver on project commitments.Act as senior escalation point for project issues and coordinate effective resolution.Drive standardization, reporting, and continuous improvement of project processes and tools.Represent the PMO in executive customer interactions, including steering committees and governance reviews.Track project performance and proactively manage risks, opportunities, and changes affecting project outcomes.What you bring to the role:A Master’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline.Minimum 5 years of experience leading a Project Management Office (PMO), with a strong track record in people leadership and team development.10+ years of progressive experience in program and project management, ideally within industrial or technical B2B environments.Demonstrated success in leading strategic and complex projects, preferably within the wind or renewable energy sector.Hands-on experience managing customer-driven projects, including delivery models such as build-to-print, build-to-spec, and build-to-requirement.A deep understanding of project management methodologies and best practices. Certification or hands-on experience with frameworks such as IPMA, PMI/PMP, Prince2, Scrum, or Half Double is a strong advantage.Proven leadership capabilities, including managing international and cross-functional teams.A collaborative mindset with the ability to navigate and influence across a matrix organization.Fluent in English (spoken and written)Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 30–50 days/year).Candidates who are open to relocating to Denmark are warmly encouraged to apply.
