Who We Are Looking ForGlobal Technology is transforming the controls function to enhance control rationalization and incorporate robust system integrations and automations. The position will support this transformation to drive increased efficiency and effectiveness across State Street’s cybersecurity and technology risk and control framework.What You Will Be Responsible ForAs the Technology Controls Transformation and Automation Vice President, you will:Lead and/or support key automation areas, such as: Automation Opportunity Identification, Source Data and System Integration, Artificial Intelligence Integration, Automated Control ImplementationLead control rationalization initiatives, including enhancing the controls library framework and collaborating with stakeholders to align the existing controls library to this frameworkSupport the end-to-end control transformation process, including adapting and strategizing to optimize control designing, rationalization, automation, and controls alignment to risks, processes, and standardsEnsure that the risk and control assessment activities are delivered accurately and timely, in line with the State Street framework and methodology.Drive enhancement of leadership reporting around the status and outcomes of control automation and rationalization activitiesReinforce an inherent culture of accountability and ownership for implementation and execution of controls across all levels and functions within Global Technology Services.Collaborate closely with several stakeholder groups to support control automation and control rationalization, including system owners, risk & control functions, and all three lines of defenseWork in conjunction with other Technology Risk and Controls departments as well as business partners and external parties as needed to resolve issues and support adherence to applicable policies, standards, and regulations.What We ValueThese skills will help you succeed in this roleMust have the ability to operate in a timely and deadline-oriented environment, while delivering results in an efficient and effective mannerStrong understanding of the integration of risks, standards, controls, findings, industry frameworks, and regulations across technology domainsStrong technical skills and problem solving, including a solid understanding of how to use common enterprise technologies to effectively automate control testingProven experience with IRM Solutions such as Archer is requiredFamiliarity with programming, scripting, and/or command line interfaces such as VBA, Python, PowerShell, etc. is a plusExperience with automation, artificial intelligence, or data analytics tools (e.g. Alteryx, Blue Prism, Databricks, etc.) is a plusAdvanced Microsoft Office, particularly Excel is requiredAbility to interact with and communicate professionally with multiple levels of management in multiple regionsExcellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to express ideas and understand workflowsStrong time management skills, problem-solving and critical thinking skills.Must be detail-orientedExperience working in the Financial industry preferredPrior knowledge of the State Street technology and control environment is a plusEducation & Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Information Technology, IT Security, Risk Management, or a related field; Masters degree a plusOverall experience of 15 – 18 + years in IndustryMinimum 12 years of experience working in cybersecurity, technology operations, technology automation or artificial intelligence, technology control management, technology audit, and/or technology consulting. Minimum of 6 years of leadership experience in these areas.Preference for: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Auditor (CISA), Certified Risk & Information Systems Controls (CRISC), and/or technical certifications supporting technology automation or artificial intelligenceWhy this role is important to usOur technology function, Global Technology Services (GTS), is vital to State Street and is the key enabler for our business to deliver data and insights to our clients.
