Job Description

The MD of a US Investment Bank has asked is looking for an Associate-VP for their Tokyo based M&A team that focuses on cross-border deals.Brief overview:- 4 Tokyo-based team members focusing on 90+% cross-border deals- Strong global pipeline- 60% Sell-side 40% buy-side split- Mid-large cap (generalist) deal focus- 5 Interview rounds, no modelling test- Associate - Up to 28m JPY total comp- VP - Up to 50m JPY total compRequirements:- Fluent Japanese and strong-business level English- VP Level - Ability to source deals- 3+ years of IBD / MBB experience- LBO modelling ability
