Vice President

Vice President – Investment BankingThis position will support lead bankers in interacting with investment banking clients. There will be considerable diversity in terms of work projects to which you are assigned. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working in a demanding, but collegial environment – capable of learning expediently and able to balance multiple projects effectively with a concern for deadlines. Specifically, he/she will work with Lead Bankers to:Analyze and underwrite the credit of proposed senior living and long-term care financings.Coordinate the financing process with architects, contractors, market and financial feasibility consultants, lawyers, issuers and other professionals to facilitate the closing of the financings and the distribution of fundsManage day-to-day aspects of deal processSolicitation and negotiation of term sheets from commercial banks, as well as proposals from verification agents and trusteesInterface with rating agencies to secure investment grade ratingsReview legal documents to ensure appropriate capture of key covenants and termsCoordinating calls and information flow with working group and prospective investorsDraft pitch materials, RFP responses, information memoranda, and industry conference presentationsPrepare presentations to guide management and boards of directors in determining the most appropriate financing structures for their projectsPost financing, work with management and boards of directors to determine optimal investment and derivative strategiesAccompany senior bankers on business development and client meetingsConduct research and due diligence in support of marketing plan and business development efforts.Ensure the quality of client deliverables by paying strong attention to detail and supervise analysts and associate bankers to ensure work is complete on a timely and thorough mannerRequirementsThe right candidate will have:7-10+ years’ experience in Tax-Exempt Project Finance, preferably with experience in the healthcare and/or education sectors (Hiring level will be decided based on experience of right candidate)Strong proficiency with DBC (We recognize that you might not strong experience but our expectation is that you will acquire this skill) along with Excel, Word and PowerPointExcellent analytical skills. Able to quantitatively and qualitatively assess markets and business models for attractiveness and strategic fit, including creating and analyzing financial models and statistically analyzing the results of primary and secondary research.Must possess strong attention to detail; furnishes work products devoid of careless mistakes.Superior presentation development skills. Ability to determine logical thought progression and craft impactful data visuals.Proven ability to stay appropriately abreast of new trends and opportunities.Ability to engage, persuade, and influence others with strong written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills.Excellent problem solving skills.
