Vice President Information Technology

The Opportunity:Wings Over is seeking a Vice President of IT, ideally based in the Northeast or Midwest, to join our corporate team supporting 40 corporate and franchised restaurant locations. You will lead all systems and technology initiatives to ensure the success of all restaurants.We are looking for someone who has great attention to detail, knowledge and understanding of the role technology plays in the restaurant industry; who is obsessed with solving problems and thrives in a fast-paced environment; who is confident and comfortable speaking with internal and external stakeholders; and who desires to learn quickly and grow their career.Now Serving These Benefits:An energetic, collaborative, and positive work environmentCompetitive PayPaid vacation and sick timeMedical, Dental, & Vision insuranceFlexible Spending Account & Dependent Care Spending AccountWeekly pay through direct deposit401(k) with employer match after 12 months of serviceDay in the Life (includes, but not limited to):Lead IT department initiatives, timelines, budgets, and development.Manage and develop members of the IT team.Analyze IT infrastructure and systems performance to assess operating costs, productivity levels, upgrade requirements, and other metrics and needs.Develop, implement, and evaluate IT projects in line with organizational objectives.Evaluate and create new solutions for hardware and software.Primary point of contact to support internal stakeholders, franchise partners, and guest information system needs.Assist team with troubleshooting, resolving, and documenting a range of technical issues and resolutions related to hardware, software, etc.Develop and maintain relationships with third party vendors and external system providers.Work directly with corporate and franchise operators and stakeholders to train and support new systems and processes.Other related duties as assigned.What You Bring to the Table:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Hospitality, or related field requiredQSR/restaurant technology experience requiredHands-on experience with Toast, DoorDash, Uber Eats, or similar systemsExperience with major tech migrations/system overhauls (POS, kiosks, accounting, Par Brink, Toast)Experience in scaling IT from growing (0-100) chainKnowledge of implementing hardware and software in the hospitality industry requiredExperience leading a small IT team (5–20 people)Experience with C# or other .NET LanguagesKnowledge of Point-of-Sale Extended Markup Language (POSXML)Proven experience in configuring, maintaining and supporting technology systems, such as POS systems and digital ordering platformsExperience installing Kitchen Display Units (KDU’s)Effective problem solver with strong attention to detail.A disciplined approach to priority settings.High-energy, self-motivated, action orientation, positive and humble attitude, flexible, hard-working, and high level of integrity.Fly With Us:For over 20 years, Wings Over has served the best crispy chicken wings and hand-breaded tenders.
