Job Title: Vice President, Ecology and Board leadershipDepartment: Policy & Analysis DivisionLocation: Brussels, BelgiumEmployee Status: Full-timeTravel: 25-40%Reports To: Executive Vice President, International RegionDirect Reports: 4-6TEAM LEADERSHIP & ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT• Build and manage a high-performing team across operations, sales, content, and delivery functions• Establish performance metrics, accountability structures, and incentive programs that drive results• Create a compelling company culture that attracts and retains top talent• Develop succession plans and invest in professional development of team members• Work collaboratively with executive leadership to drive organizational strategy and innovationREVENUE EXPANSION & FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE• Own the P&L for the division and establish aggressive yet achievable revenue targets• Develop and launch new service lines, training programs, subscription models, and consulting offerings• Negotiate and close major client contracts and partnerships• Monitor market trends to adapt pricing strategies and service delivery models to maximize profitabilityBRAND BUILDING & MARKET POSITIONING• Champion efforts to establish the division and organization as an essential resource in the industry• Represent the organization at major industry events, speaking engagements, and media opportunities• Identify and cultivate internal and external experts who can serve as visible spokespeople and thought leaders• Develop marketing and communications strategies that increase awareness and attract both clients and talentPOSITION SUMMARYThe VP leads European and Asian operations for a consulting and research organization that specializes in enterprise strategy and organizational development. This role is responsible for building and scaling the division's service offerings, expanding client relationships, and positioning the division as a market leader. Key strategic objectives include:(1) Drive revenue growth and operational efficiency across all business lines(2) Develop and execute regional market expansion strategies(3) Build a strong employer brand and attract top talent to the team(4) Create synergies across the organization's various business units(5) Establish the division as a go-to resource for senior executives seeking strategic guidancePREFERRED• Advanced degree (MBA, JD, or equivalent advanced professional qualification)• Experience as Chief Legal Officer, General Counsel, Legal Director or Board Secretary• Track record of successful M&A or partnership integration• Background in a regulated or compliance-focused industry• Multilingual capabilities, particularly with European languages• Experience with SaaS platforms, analytics tools, or digital content delivery systemsBUSINESS DEVELOPMENT & CLIENT STRATEGY• Lead the identification and acquisition of enterprise clients at executive and board levels, including legal, compliance, and strategy leaders• Conduct high-level strategic consultations with C-suite executives and board members to understand their key business challenges and opportunities• Develop and nurture strategic partnerships with complementary service providers, industry associations, and thought leaders• Oversee market research to identify emerging client needs, competitive positioning, and revenue diversification opportunitiesCONTENT DEVELOPMENT & INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY• Oversee the creation of original research, white papers, case studies, and educational content that demonstrates expertise and attracts clients• Manage the development and execution of executive forums, workshops, webinars, advisory councils, and conferences• Build a proprietary knowledge base and content library that provides competitive advantage and drives client retention• Ensure thought leadership visibility through multiple channels and content formats
