Reporting directly to the CMO, this leader will translate high-level strategy into tactical plans that drive member growth, presale performance, retention, and brand consistency across all markets. This role oversees day-to-day marketing operations, manages a team of directors and managers (digital, creative, Marcom), and ensures every campaign, is executed with precision, speed, and measurable ROI. Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities:Strategic Execution·       Translate corporate marketing strategy and board-level goals into actionable marketing plans by region and club·       Oversee presale, grand opening, promotional and acquisition campaign rollouts across multiple markets·       Ensure every campaign aligns with the Crunch brand voice and Fitness Ventures’ performance standards·       Advise on market-level opportunity: demographic shifts, competitor activity, cost-to-acquire, and whitespace analysisLeadership & Management·       Lead and mentor a high-performing team of marketing professionals (creative, digital, Marcom, PR)·       Manage relationships with external vendors, agencies, and franchise partners·       Foster collaboration with Sales, Operations, Group Fitness and Personal Training to ensure alignment on goals and metrics·       Partner with CMO on developing quarterly and annual performance forecasts tied to NMU, revenue, and AUV goals·       Manage CAC efficiency and lead volume across 100+ clubs; ensure spend is optimized dailyTeam Leadership·       Lead a team of digital buyers, marketing analysts, and growth specialists·       Provide hands-on direction for pacing, optimization, and reporting·       Ensure rapid iteration speed in creative, target testing, and platform adjustments·       Set clear accountability metrics for every team memberCampaign Oversight & Management·       Own the full campaign lifecycle: brief, creative development, media execution, reporting, and optimization·       Build testing frameworks for creative, offers, audiences, and landing experiences·       Drive performance in lead generation, membership sales, and in-club conversions for presale and open clubs·       Establish multi-touch attribution insights to evaluate which channels actually drive joins·       Optimize media spend across all paid media channelsBudget Management·       Own digital media budgets across all markets; maintain alignment with ROI targets·       Partner with CMO to reallocate spend dynamically based on performance, market demand, and presale goals·       Identify efficiency opportunities in bidding strategies, audience design, and geo planning in metro markets Brand & Communications·       Ensure consistent brand presentation across 100+ clubs (and growing)·       Support rebrands and acquisitions with strong local marketing plans and launch communications·       Manage community engagement, PR, and influencer partnerships to build brand visibilityData & Performance·       Track KPIs: leads, cost per lead, NMU (New Member Units), conversion rates, and campaign ROI·       Lead all marketing performance dashboards and reporting ·       Manage CAC, LTV, and payback models; partner with CMO to validate assumptions·       Partner with the marketing department leaders to prepare monthly marketing performance reports and decks·       Leverage data to identify underperforming markets and adjust tactics in real timeAI Innovation & Marketing Technology Leadership·       Continuously research and evaluate emerging AI tools, platforms, and marketing technologies that could improve performance, targeting, automation, or creative output·       Recommend and implement new AI capabilities across the marketing department, ensuring they directly support lead generation, conversion, and revenue growth·       Stay current on advancements in AI-driven advertising, predictive analytics, audience modeling, and creative automation to keep Fitness Ventures ahead of industry trends·       Build processes for testing, validating, and scaling new AI technologies across 100+ clubs·       Partner with the CMO to develop long-term AI adoption strategies, including workflow automation, attribution improvements, and data-driven decision-making·       Train and upskill the marketing team to effectively use AI tools as part of their daily work Qualifications:·       8-10 years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role·       Proven success in multi-location, franchise, or retail environments — fitness or consumer services preferred·       Deep expertise in paid social and paid search buying strategies·       Strong command of analytics platforms, audience segmentation, and marketing automation tools·       Advanced excel/sheets skills; comfort with dashboards, forecasting models, and KPI reporting·       Clear understanding of CAC, LTV, channel attribution, and demand generation economics·       Proven experience leading teams in high-velocity environments·       Strong understanding of full-funnel marketing, from digital media to local events·       Ability to manage multiple concurrent launches, often across dozens of markets·       Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills·       Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or business; MBA preferred   COMPENSATIONCompensation will be market and situation-based, corresponding to the experience level, credentials, and personal characteristics of the candidate. The package will include a base salary, annual bonus opportunity, as well as a full range of employee benefits.
