262 | Interim Vice President Sales | GermanyClient Description:Our client is a fast-scaling European SaaS company, privately owned and recognised as a market leader in digital management solutions. Founded over ten years ago, the business has grown rapidly across major European markets and now employs close to 1,000 professionals.The company operates through a fully localised subsidiary in Berlin, with approximately 100 employees and a strong, independent market presence. Despite high product performance and accelerated success in France, Italy, and other markets, the German sales organisation has underperformed relative to its commercial potential.This interim executive leadership assignment has been created to provide immediate stability, protect revenue pipelines, and ensure operational continuity during a critical transition. The interim Sales VP will work under the strategic oversight of the Group Chief Sales & Customer Officer, with a clear focus on team cohesion, performance retention, and seamless handover at the end of the interim project.Job Challenge:Lead and manage a medium-sized team across direct sales, partnerships, and business developmentSafeguard and develop pipeline momentum and internal team structure during leadership handoverReinforce local presence and credibility within the Berlin-based commercial organisationOperate within a pan-European, matrixed SaaS sales structure with defined functional interfacesAct as a stabilising force while ensuring cultural alignment and business growth accelerationPrepare the organisation for a smooth and professional transition to a permanent Sales VPManager Skills:Former VP Sales, Commercial Director, or Country Manager with enterprise or mid-market SaaS backgroundTrack record of leading regional commercial teams in Germany, ideally in a matrixed tech organisationFluent in English and German, with a hands-on, visible leadership style suited to junior and fast-growing teamsSkilled in managing sales acquisition processes from prospecting to customer handoverBrings operational steadiness, cultural sensitivity, and emotional intelligence to high-change environmentsComfortable with interim mandates focused on continuity and transition rather than transformationAble to reinforce team trust, prevent disruption, and represent the brand with professionalismRequirement 01: German market leadership with Berlin-based presenceRequirement 02: Proven Interim executive sales leadership within SaaS or B2B softwareRequirement 03: Fluent in GERMAN and English
