With a growing portfolio of renewable energy assets (including solar, wind, and battery storage) across over 5 countries, we are seeking an experienced and inspiring leader to drive operational excellence, innovation, and team engagement in the renewable energy sector.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure the safe, sustainable, compliant, reliable, and profitable operation of all facilities in accordance with legal, regulatory, and internal policy standards.Define and guide the vision, strategy, and direction of the renewables operations and maintenance function, working collaboratively across business areas to achieve organizational objectives.Lead & develop a diverse team, building the right mix of skills and competencies while promoting an inclusive, empowering, and high-performance culture.Strive for continuous performance improvement across the Wind, Solar & BESS portfolio, setting and delivering on ambitious targets.Partner closely with internal teams and the broader organisation to share knowledge & operational insights that inform and strengthen future projects and initiatives.Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders locally, nationally & internationally (OEMs, third party service providers, and contractors).Candidate ProfileBe a role model for promoting a robust Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (HSSE) culture.Degree in engineering (preferably electrical or renewable energy) or an equivalent professional qualification.Extensive experience in the operational management of renewable energy projects.Strong leadership experience in collaborative environments.A driver for continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence.Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on identifying and implementing process and performance improvements.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities in English, with a proven capacity to engage and collaborate across diverse teams and cultures.Highly organized with strong planning skills and the ability to effectively prioritize in complex operational settings.Positive, solution-focused attitude aligned with organizational values and best practices.Open to international travel as required by the role.If you are looking to be apart of a key player who are driving the energy transition, and the above description sounds like you - make your application today without delay.Email: Kris.Gittings@hunterphilips.com
