The firm invests in resilient, high-potential SMEs across transformation, succession and growth scenarios, partnering closely with management teams to deliver strategic expansion and operational value creation.The OpportunityAs Vice President, you will play a pivotal leadership role within the investment team — leading origination efforts, driving execution of new investments and overseeing portfolio value creation. In this senior capacity you will be a trusted partner to management teams, lead investment committee dialogue and actively shape the firm’s growth strategy in the region. The role offers both strategic influence and operational impact in a dynamic, entrepreneurially-oriented environment.Key ResponsibilitiesOrigination Leadership: Define and implement thematic sourcing strategies; proactively target and build relationships with entrepreneurs, advisors and intermediaries across the Benelux.Transaction Ownership: Lead full transaction life-cycle — from opportunity identification through modelling, structuring, due diligence, negotiation and closing.Investment Thesis & Strategic Insight: Formulate compelling investment hypotheses drawing on sector deep-dives, market mapping and value-creation potential; present to investment committee with conviction.Portfolio Value Creation: Serve as strategic partner to portfolio company management teams; drive growth initiatives including bolt-on M&A, digital/operational transformation, international roll-out and capital structure optimisation.Governance & Board Engagement: Represent the firm at board level; monitor financial and operational KPIs, challenge management performance and ensure accountability to value-creation milestones.Stakeholder & Network Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with co-investors, lenders, industry specialists and senior executives to support deal flow and post-investment development.Team Development & Leadership: Mentor and guide junior team members, contribute to the firm’s culture of excellence, and help shape the future leadership of the platform.Candidate Profile7-12 years’ experience in private equity, growth capital or M&A/Corporate Finance, with significant exposure to mid-market transactions.Proven track record of sourcing, executing and managing investments, ideally including meaningful portfolio involvement.Advanced financial modelling and commercial analysis skills with a strong strategic mindset and operational orientation.Ability to manage complex transactions and multiple stakeholders in a high-performance, time-sensitive environment.Credible communicator, able to engage confidently with senior management teams and board-level stakeholders.Entrepreneurial, proactive and business-oriented — thrives on ownership, initiative and accountability.Proficiency in Dutch and English; additional European language skills a plus.The CultureThe firm fosters an entrepreneurial, intellectually rigorous and team-oriented culture.
