Our technology and innovation, partnerships and networks combine to deliver a unique set of products and services that help people, businesses and governments realize their greatest potential.Title And SummaryVice President, Products and Solutions, Network & SwitchingThe Vice President, Network Products, Access and Gateway will join a team driving technology strategy around the future of Mastercard’s global core payments network and the enablement of our Services strategy.The successful candidate will lead the definition and execution of product go-to-market and commercialization strategies for new and existing product offerings with a focus on Mexico, Central America & Caribbean (North LAC) division and will help define our technology and network strategy, leading efforts from an initial problem statement and analysis to implementation. The role will involve building a sophisticated understanding of the technical functioning of our systems – and will also demand the ability to develop a clear business view of varying market needs. It will call for close collaboration with internal technical teams, regional market-facing teams and customers, product teams and other business owners within Mastercard to identify needs, and drive alignment.RoleDefine and maintain Mexico, Central America & Caribbean Network Products (including switching), Access and Gateway go-to-market and growth strategyManage and engage with local stakeholders and Sales to enable and scale our switching capabilitiesDevelop and maintain a strong leadership on the market landscape, customer needs, competitor strategiesCo-lead / support engagements with customers and market participants regarding our core network value propositionLead new product concepts for the market thru the regional PME / Studio process to enable market launchesDevelop go-to-market strategies, identifying target or pilot regions or customers, driving customer engagement and communications, proposing any pricing or economic impact, and working with internal delivery teams to ensure successful rollout – independently or in partnership with business owners as neededOwn the Divisional P&L and lead commercialization strategies for North Division Region to enable rollout, scaling and monetization of new product offeringsProvide input into and influence the regional/global product development and prioritization based on market needs and prioritiesSupport ongoing product management for existing productsBuild strong relationships with other business and technical teams and engage internal product teams and business owners, as well as regional market-facing teams and customers around the world, to identify and understand network needs and challenges.Collaborate closely with internal technology teams to develop a clear perspective on the Mastercard technology systemsAll About YouPrior experience in payments, including technical knowledge, is requiredStrong understanding of payments industry value chain dynamicsWillingness to dive deep and learn about our technology, system structure, and rulesStrong communication skillsSelf-starter and quick learner with ability to work independentlyAbility to thrive in fast-paced environments; flexibility to handle rapidly changing scenariosAbility to work with ambiguity and manage complex projects; successfully manage multipleresponsibilities and tasksStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong Data And Financial Analysis Skills And ExperienceStrong project management skills – strong organization and task management is expectedStrong collaborator, ability to work cross-functionallyAbility to interact with varying levels of leadership across the organization and with internal and external clients; ability to lead and influence at all levelsCorporate Security Responsibility All activities involving access to Mastercard assets, information, and networks comes with an inherent risk to the organization and, therefore, it is expected that every person working for, or on behalf of, Mastercard is responsible for information security and must:Abide by Mastercard’s security policies and practices;Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of the information being accessed;Report any suspected information security violation or breach, andComplete all periodic mandatory security trainings in accordance with Mastercard’s guidelines.
