THE ROLEThe Project Officer, Property Operations role within Resident Services Unit of Disability Homes Victoria will support the delivery of capital and maintenance programs of the Victorian Government's Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) portfolio, the largest in Australia, as well as other disability portfolio assets. This role is a rewarding and challenging opportunity for an experienced and dedicated client-focused Project Officer to undertake and support project delivery including procurement, document control, facilitating project control meetings, providing Secretariat support and administration support to the Property Operations team.
The role will involve collaboration with other teams in undertaking tasks where responsibilities span across the branch, such as property upgrade works. The Project Officer will be responsible for monitoring and reporting on project status, consultant engagement, project tendering, tender evaluations, stakeholder management, working across multiple projects concurrently and representing the Property Operations team at meetingsAccountabilities Include Contribute to the full life cycle of projects to meet departmental objectives including: Assisting in research, analysis and implementation of projects based on defined outcomes and outputs.
Supporting the development and delivery of projects or sub-projects and their successful delivery and completion within resourcing, timeline and budget parameters. Contributing to the monitoring and evaluation of projects to ensure departmental objectives are met. Assist in the preparation and presentation of reports, ministerial briefs, cabinet and agency submissions on a range of matters.
