Our global community has grown to over 57,500 Volunteers across 147 countries, helping hundreds of startups—primarily in the UK and USA—scale sustainably.About the OpportunityAs a Volunteer Video Creator & Editor at SkilledUp Life, you will bring our stories, narratives, and content to life through engaging, brand-aligned videos. Your work directly supports our marketing efforts by ensuring timely delivery of impactful content that inspires talents, startups, partners, and students. Each video must be finalized and submitted one day before its scheduled publishing time.Key activities:Create weekly videos for core content series: Startups (Mondays), Talents (Wednesdays), Partners/University Students (Fridays).Design videos in line with SkilledUp Life’s brand guidelines (M17), ensuring consistent colors, typography, tone, and logo usage.Maintain the correct formats (1:1 or 9:16), with lengths typically ranging 60–180 seconds depending on the content type.Apply tailored tones:Startup Narrative → Insightful, honest, reflectiveTalent Narrative → Energetic, inspiring, achievement-focusedPartner/University Narrative → Impact-driven, audience-centricInclude subtitles, royalty-free background music, and clear file naming conventions.Collaborate with the content scheduling team to align with the Content Calendar (M28).Upload completed work to Google Drive Repository, link to the calendar, and confirm delivery in Slack/email.Use video tools (CapCut, InShot, Canva, Play.ht for voiceovers) and maintain workflow through shared drives and sheets.RequirementsStrong video editing skills using CapCut, InShot, Canva, or similar.Knowledge of storytelling, branding, and digital marketing.Ability to follow brand guidelines and maintain consistency.Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.Proactive communicator, comfortable working remotely and asynchronously.Duration3 hrs. per day Monday to Friday60 Volunteer Days over 3+ monthsPart-timeFully remoteAcquired Skills:Gain real-world video production experience in a global tech SaaS environment.Build a professional video portfolio across multiple audience types.Receive mentorship and constructive feedback to sharpen creative skills.Collaborate with an international, cross-functional team.Earn a testimonial on SkilledUp Life, LinkedIn endorsement, certificate, and Letter of Recommendation upon successful completion.EndorsementsOnce a satisfactory outcome is delivered, we will:Provide a testimonial against your profile on SkilledUp Life.Provide a testimonial for LinkedIn that can also be added to your CV/Resume.Allow you to add SkilledUp Life Company Name to your LinkedIn Profile.DisclaimerThis is a voluntary position, i.e. there is no direct financial compensation, a promise of future paid work or any taxable benefit in kind.
