Society for Participatory Action and Reflection (SPAR) is looking for Video EditorJob Description / ResponsibilityEdit raw footage into polished, compelling videos for various platforms (YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, website, etc.)Add transitions, color correction, visual effects, subtitles, and motion graphics to enhance storytelling.Create video concepts and storyboards in collaboration with the creative and communications team.Manage and organize all video assets, ensuring proper file storage and version control.Edit short and long-form content including promotional videos, awareness campaigns, interviews, and event coverage.Ensure brand consistency in all video projects, including logo usage, color palette, and typography.Add background music, sound effects, and voiceovers to ensure emotional impact and message clarity.Work with photographers, scriptwriters, and animators to develop multi-media stories.Optimize video formats and resolutions for different digital platforms.Deliver projects within deadlines while maintaining creative excellence and attention to detail.Educational RequirementsBachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Film and MediaBachelor’s Degree in Film Production, Multimedia, Communication, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).Skills Required: 3D Animation, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Canon Camera expartExperience RequirementsAt least 2 year(s)The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):NGO,Development Agency,Web Media/Blog,Film ProductionAdditional RequirementsProven experience (2+ years) in professional video editing and post-production.Proficiency in video editing software: Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar.Strong understanding of pacing, composition, and storytelling techniques.Experience with color grading, motion graphics, and audio synchronization.Familiarity with social media content styles and formats.Ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.Creativity, initiative, and an eye for detail are essential.Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
