Video Editor/Motion Designer

Why This Role MattersThe Video Editor/Motion Designer will be responsible for producing slick, professional videos that combine creative design with advanced AI-driven audio and animation technologies. Your work will help communicate our product's value, educate our audience, and amplify our marketing campaigns. You will collaborate closely with marketing, content, and our social media specialist to ensure consistent messaging and creative excellence.You will be responsible for profiling AI agents in our marketplace, producing weekly webinar series, creating engaging short-form advertising and explainer videos, and capturing live footage at trade shows and educational workshops. The video style should be polished, educational, and visually dynamic, inspired by the Learn with Shopify YouTube channel.What You'll DoDesign, produce, and edit high-quality video content incorporating AI-generated voices and animation effectsDevelop motion graphics and visual storytelling elements that enhance brand messagingCollaborate with internal team members including CEO, Community Manager, Marketing Manager, and Product team to film and produce video contentCollaborate with marketing and content teams to translate campaign concepts into compelling video assetsCreate short-form videos optimised for TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Meta platforms, as well as longer explainer videos for YouTubeManage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high production standardsOptimise video content for various platforms including social media, websites, webinars, and eventsManage and record video-based broadcasting such as video and audio podcasts with our CEO and guestsOwn and look after all audio and visual aspects at Autohive, ensuring high-quality production standards across all mediaHandle all video-related tasks as needed to support company events and marketing initiativesStay up-to-date with the latest AI tools and multimedia production techniques to continuously innovate video contentRequirementsExperience in video production, motion graphics, and animation (a portfolio is a must)Proficiency with video editing and animation software such as Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Blender, or equivalentExperience using AI voice synthesis tools (such as ElevenLabs) and integrating AI-generated audio into video content Strong creative vision with excellent storytelling and design skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environmentDetail-oriented with strong organisational and project management skillsPassion for emerging technologies and innovation in multimedia productionBonus SkillsExperience with 2D animation and visual effectsKnowledge of marketing and branding principlesFamiliarity with social media video formats and best practicesBasic understanding of AI agent technology or software productsBenefitsWork at the cutting edge of AI-powered Marketing and video productionHave your work be seen on the world stageWork with a small and tight knit group of creatives, without endless red tape, helps us develop our young brand in the video and AI spaceStrong career growth opportunitiesIf you're excited to create next-level video content that combines creativity with AI innovation, we want to hear from you!
