Al-Sindibad is hiring a part‑time Video Editor to craft high‑impact reels/shorts and YouTube episodes. You’ll turn briefs and raw footage into polished, on‑brand videos with strong hooks, tight pacing, clean sound, and export‑ready deliverables for multiple platforms.Key ResponsibilitiesEdit vertical reels/shorts (IG/TikTok/YT Shorts) and longer YouTube episodes.Build engaging openings (first 3–5 seconds), narrative flow, and platform‑optimized pacing.Add subtitles, graphics, lower thirds, transitions, music/SFX; ensure audio leveling & color balance.Adapt cuts to multiple aspect ratios (9:16, 1:1, 16:9) and platform export specs.Maintain brand consistency (fonts, color palette, end cards, taglines).Organize footage, naming, timelines; deliver source files + final exports.Collaborate with the copywriter, designer, cameraman, and account manager via ClickUp.Implement feedback quickly and meet publishing deadlines.Requirements2–4 years’ experience in social/video editing (agency or brand/creator side).Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (After Effects a plus).Storytelling sense, hook‑driven editing, rhythm, and timing.Working knowledge of color correction/grading and audio cleanup.Familiarity with platform best practices (retention, captions, metadata).Organized, detail‑oriented, responsive; comfortable with tight timelines.English/Arabic collaboration skills.Nice to HaveMotion graphics in After Effects (titles, animated infographics, bumpers).Thumbnail design basics (Photoshop / Illustrator).YouTube workflow (chapters, end screens, analytics‑aware exports).Basic camera knowledge to advise on shot selection.Tools We UseAdobe CC (Premiere, After Effects) • Google Drive • ClickUp • Slack/WhatsApp • Frame.io (optional)Note: Please include a link to your portfolio or Behance profile with your application.
