The roleLush is seeking a creative Videographer/Editor for its in-house media department. They will be responsible for delivering high-quality, original content across all Lush platforms, with a focus on editing and the ability to operate the camera, produce, and direct. This includes creating and shooting work for the Lush website, YouTube and live events. Our ideal candidate will be self-motivated, agile and bold in their approach to creating video content. As a Lush enthusiast and talented visual storyteller, you’ll ensure that all content we publish is created and edited to the highest standards possible. This is an excellent opportunity to work on the video production team at Lush, with your core focus on creating engaging, reactive video content for Lush's digital platforms. Please include a link to your showreel in your personal summary.Key ResponsibilitiesBring Lush’s stories to life through exceptional video editing.Working with motion graphics for videos.Review work with stakeholders to obtain feedback and sign off.Interpreting multiple briefs into a visual format.Generating ideas for and producing original video content.Storyboarding and creating shot lists where required.Filming a variety of visually engaging video content.Lighting for different locations and scenarios.Taking a directorial lead on projects where required.Working on multiple projects at a time, with a varying tone of voice.Coverage of live events where needed (involves travel).Develop a strong understanding of Lush’s brand identity to support in video creation.Organise kit rental.Continuously seek out new content opportunities, working collaboratively with the creative leads and media teams.Elevate and maintain the highest possible standards of video production.Maintain and organise all video equipment and studio space.Maintaining good file management and ensuring all project files are easily accessible from the archive when needed.Work with the YouTube channel manager to ensure files are uploaded and publishing deadlines are met.Skills, Knowledge and ExpertiseSkills we are looking for:Strong editing skills on Adobe Premiere Pro.Intermediate After Effects skills.A strong visual flair.High level of attention to detail.Strong and diverse shooting skills, predominantly in a studio setting, also in a variety of other scenarios.Confident directing talent of varying experience levels.A positive and proactive attitude with the ability to be adaptable and think on your feet.Ability to accurately implement feedback.Advanced knowledge of camera systems, especially Sony A7S and FS7, Red and Canon.Advanced knowledge of constant lighting techniques.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Able to embrace changing assignments, direction, and deadlines that come your way - a willingness to learn and adapt.Ability to interpret briefs and use feedback to positively impact projects.Ability to work well individually and collaborate with wider teams on larger projects.Confident working with and managing freelance crews where necessary.Must havesAt least 2 years of existing video industry experience.
