Job Description We are seeking a candidate capable of developing research on the topic of „Application of multi-agent systems using artificial intelligence methods for efficient data processing and analysis“.
The doctoral researcher’s main duties will consist of writing their dissertation, publishing scientific articles, participating in scientific conferences, undertaking a research internship, and related activities. In addition, the doctoral researcher is required to participate in meetings and other activities of the research team, such as occasional administrative tasks, organisation of academic events related to the project and joint presentations at relevant research events. A successful candidate is expected to show interest and enthusiasm towards working in an academic position and contributing to the research team. Requirements· The candidate must hold a Master’s degree in a relevant field.
· If a higher education diploma was issued by a foreign education institution, evaluation of the gained education documents, recognised by the Centre for Quality Assessment in Higher Education in Lithuania or International Studies Centre of Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (in order to get a verification of higher education diploma, please contact International Studies Centre). · The English language requirements should meet one of the following: IELTS (not less than 6 points), TOEFL (70-78 points) or a Duolingo certificate, indicating B2 English language level. A certificate should be issued not later than 3 years ago.
If a Bachelor's or Master's degree study language was English, a certificate is not required. · The selected candidate will need to apply for acceptance in the VILNIUS TECH Doctoral Program in the Faculty of Fundamental Science during the Autumn semester of 2025. The selected candidate must have the ability to conduct independent, high-quality scientific research. The candidate should have excellent analytical and methodological skills and be able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a research team. Excellent skills in written and oral English are required. Please be prepared to provide proof of your merits if requested.

The scholarship of the Doctoral Researcher is based on the “A description of the procedure for providing study support to doctoral students“ by the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport in Lithuania. At the moment, the monthly first-year scholarship of a doctoral researcher is typically approximately 1330 EUR/month.
