The Role: We’re looking for a curious, detail-obsessed, and resourceful VIP Travel Assistant to support our senior Travel Planners in curating unforgettable journeys for our most discerning clients. This role goes beyond booking trips — it’s about uncovering hidden gems, negotiating with confidence, and anticipating every detail before the traveler even asks.Location: Barranquilla, Colombia (onsite)Key Responsibilities:Support the execution of tailor-made itineraries by researching destinations, experiences, villas, and exclusive products.Assist in creating presentations and travel documents with precision and creativity.Coordinate and book all travel arrangements — hotels, activities, car rentals, and restaurants — ensuring compliance with payment and policy requirements.Reconfirm all booking details and liaise with vendors to ensure flawless execution and client satisfaction.Develop and maintain positive and productive working relationships with other employees and departments / Talk with and listen to other Travel Planners to effectively exchange information.Partner closely with Travel Planners and Operations to uphold quality control and resolve issues with agility and grace.Support Travel Planners by researching and curating bespoke experiences, from exclusive restaurants and local guides to unique, hard-to-find opportunities that elevate each itinerary.Build strong relationships with suppliers to foster trust and repeat business.What we're looking forA curious investigator — someone who loves uncovering unique options and thinking beyond the obvious.Flexible and dependable, able to adjust to planner/client needs across time zones and high-demand periodsHumble, proactive, and eager to learn, with a positive, can-do attitude.Extremely detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities under tight deadlines.Tech-savvy and quick to adapt to systems like HubSpot CRM and Travefy (experience with these tools is a plus).Strong English communicator (spoken and written) with exceptional customer service skills.
